Demo'd the Billy Goat and found it hard to move around and turn on grass as there are no steering brakes like a regular commercial walk behind..

    Try the Bradley mowers....

full commercial belt driven walk behinds......great prices!!
  3. I demoed one for 2.5 weeks.

    What I liked:
Mulches well when grass wasn't too tall and wet
cutting speed is a pretty good pace at # 3 or 4
    has a reverse.
    Decent bagger.
Compact, fits on my small trailer
Doesn't leave a big foot print on wet lawns

    What I disliked:
We cut grass @ 2" to 2.5", was not able to
get to that height, but after discussing this issue with rep and dealer, found out that they will sell you or you order the machine with a height lowering kit. The deck is too much of an angle, so front of deck compress grass blades, leaving un-cut blades
    Big Gas hog
    Hard to turn on hills

Overall, I liked the machine mainly because it is a perfect size for me. I will probably order a machine for myself with the wheel lowering kit and price. Scag was $300 more. Another machine I would look at is the from Better Outdoor Products.
