Billy Goat Mower

    I'm intrigued by this mower. Does anyone have one? Like it or dislike?

    igot one the other day.the dealer in my area is selling them for 999.00.and1100.00 e/s.they got a good deal from billygoat.t uaed mine all day today.them mow great.it is heavy duty.makes a nice cut.and gets inside a 36 inch gate.thay have been around for years,and make great products.

    the dealer is henthorns in indy 317-634-5678 ask for ed or rickie.if they don,t have any more there are a few on e-bay in mi. for 1299.00 +99.00 shipping.or go to billygoat.com and see if a dealer is near you.they might have got the price break to.good luck and let me know what happens.

    Yeah, i got a billy goat mower last year and i love it. it mows and runs great. it is extemely durable. i don't think you will be disappointed. I am just about to invest in another one.

    Well, I bought one. Pretty nice mower. I hadn't run a walk behind in about 8 years, and I felt like a monkey doin' a football at first. The biggest difference between the Billy Goat and a traditional walk behind is that you have to manually steer it. That is, there is only one brake, stop or go. You have to basically wrestle it around corners and to do your next strip.

    All that said, I'd rate it a B+, maybe even an A- given the price tag (less than half a traditional 36".

    I would rate it about a B, maybe B+ ... for the price, it's a good deal !!
