Looking for an addition to our leaf removal equipment. We have looked at the Little Wonder hpv, bear cat, parker sweeper and the billy goat vq. These are among the largers walk behind vacs available. They range in price between 2-3k. The billy goat is the largest and has over 2000cfm at the nozzle. For leaf cleanup we use backpack blowers, 72" dixie chopper, 60" exmark wb w/ mulch kit and a kubota powered walker. On most lawns we blow first, mulch with the 60" Exmark wb, then bag with the walker. We wanted the billy goat to help the walker on pickup. Anyone used one or see one work?

Never used one of them but I have seen them. My billy goat kd series vaccum works great!

There is a cool machine that does this, but not only does it suck up the leaves and debris, but it grinds it up much more than these units. It costs much less than these units do for what it does. Oh wait,....it's called a lawnmower.

Yes a lawnmower will do, we use some of the best - walker, considered the best mower vac on the market. Will it pick up acorns or sweet gum balls? Well maybe a few. There are other options, we just need to explore them. Its a very limited season. We need to be as efficient as possible?

Yes, the mower will work great on lawns, but not everyone just does lawns. Mowers won't do an entry to a college building where it's all cement and you need to pick up rocks.

In other words, on the lawn, the mower will do good except as stated, acorns, sand, rockchips etc...

    :)
