Hi Guys, I have a client who has a vacant home on a corner lot. They have had me mow biweekly and are ready to list this property with a real estate agent for sale. They want me to mow, trim, and blow it weekly for appearance purposes. It takes me about 40 min.s to mow it. I'm getting $40 now, how much cheaper should I charge for the weekly service? I'm not sure that I should charge less if I cut it weekly. What do you think?

You should be able to cut 10-15 min. off by doing it every week. I would be at $25-30 per week.

go with $30. If they are listing it with a real estate agent to sell it. It is worth it to them. If they have to have it mowed 4 times before it sells, that is $40 extra and they will get $1000+ back for the house looking decent when shown.

If they balk, ask them if they would buy a house with 6 inch too high grass?
