Does it matter what angle you put the blades on a mower, what I mean is does it matter if the blades are in a straight line like
this (I I I) or ( - - -) do you know what I mean? Its hard to explain, but when I bought the mower from the dealer the blades were all in going in different directions. I just didnt know whether or not this would affect the cut?

makes no diff. as long as their off-set. A friend has a Deere with the Freedom deck, and it has to be timed. His timing belt broke, and the blades were able to hit each other.

If it's not a deck that they don't have to be timed, (the vast majority), then no. As a matter of fact, it doesn't really matter of you DO put them on all lined up, because the first time you kick the blades in, they'll be completely different anyway.
