The blade belt came off the idler puller last week and had to be put back on. My worker just tells me that it happened again today. Not sure if it came off the same pulley yet. Any ideas why this could be happening? Both times it has popped off when the pto was engaged.

Sounds like the belt is old and stretched??? How old is the belt??.

    1st inspect belt
    2nd inspect idler tension
    3th check spindle bearings
    Later,

The belt has about 250 hrs on it.
    The belt looks good
Plenty of tension from the idler pulley
The splindles I have not checked yet

It was the spindles on mine that was causing it and the belt also had to be replaced because of the damage done when it came off!! I had less than 250 hours on the mower so I was shocked to say the least. I'm not sure what Exmark considers typical.
