When the clutch is engaged to start the blades spinning as well as disengaged to slow them to a stop is when the blade weight differential will affect 'things' the most. Harder to accelerate a heavier weight and harder to slow it down as well. This seemingly would affect belt, clutch and spindle life...and to what degree is the bigger question.

Personally, I went with G5 blades over G6s due to lighter weight. Time will tell...

Thats what I'm wondering... I have one extra .25 blade and the rest are .205 so I'm just wondering how much life will be taken away from the parts mentioned if any... And also will it be noticable???

Also I would love to have all .250 but forgot to ask that when I bought @ local dealer... Next time I will buy from Express Mower where I know what I getting...
