There's a few of us running Wrights in SA on here. Myself and Chris Diamond for starters. There's a few variables here. Mulch kit, blade type and deck pitch all need to be considered. Myself I run Gators low in the deck with just the block off plate. I also run a quarter in front down pitch. Most of my yards limit me to about 6mph. If you run different your going to have experiment with different combos. Its not a cut and dry answer. Sorry. But you do have one of the best cutting SA mowers on the market.

When you get the Gators on set the blade height at 4 to 4.25 with wheel spindle spacers and we will go form there.

Do you really want to side discharge? Lot less mess with a block off plate. I wouldn't recommend the full mulch kit way too pricey. Any welding shop can make one for 25 bucks.

Use it unless you really like cleaning out beds and grass splatter on everything. Have you had any trouble adjusting to the controls? Some guys complain about how touchy they are and keep tearing divots.

On good augustine you can run the blades all the way up against the spindle and the caster wheel spacers all under the arm. This is your highest setting and is perfect for mowing good quality SA. Now if it's weedy you may need to put some spacers under the spindle above the blade for a little more vacuum but it lowers the cutting height.
