i put a differ set of blades on our surfer i when i started the ends starting to hit each other just slightly not the cutting edges but the ends makes a hell of a racket but doesnt seem to cause much harm just little scratches on them . The blades are not bent so something must be tweaked under there??? I cant really tell by looking underneath. It seems every 5-10 seconds they will clang a little ;)

I've had that happen too. If your shaft has blade adapters make sure the blade hole is centered on them. But I'd say one or all of the blades are just a tad too long. I believe I would pull them off , measure them, compare the lengths with the blades you replaced and grind off the excess if there is any.
