I was mowing a lawn today and in the dead middle of mowing the blades just stopped. I pushed the engage button and nada, nothing happened ..... So I bring it home and it has a blown fuse I replace the fuse start it up and hit the engage button . The minute the blades engage the fuse blows what gives? Any ideas of why this is happening.

Trace the wire to the electric clutch, looking for a bare spot.
IF you can't find one, unplug the electric clutch and see if it still does it.

You might also post WHAT type equipment you have! Brand, Model etc.
