Block the Force, Luke?

    Commercial system, HOA in fact, 2" Valve, 2" Tee, 1.5" Laterals from the tee. Seems to me a thrust block may help in this situation? Would you block the thrust? Tee just blown apart.

    I think this may have happened once before, hence the 2 45's on one side.

    A few more pics, had to get the shoes in there.

    Would murder the doof who used the bell end there, though it appears it held up, outside the tee, in this case.

    It looks like someone did it right, nothing looks to be racked.
    I don't think a thrust block would have helped..freeze damage
    would be my humble opinion. I thought you were all poly boys
    out east. :dizzy:

    Out east, hah. Commercial is still the good stuff, thank god.

    Feed to that tee goes down that there hill to the valve, why not freeze lower down?Valve is shallow, line to the tee is more shallow than the tee itself. Just for discussion.

    It was added to the list of recommendations last year. Maybe in 3 more years?

    Leaf rake and a short mow'll do the trick. Consider it a topdressing!
