I have red max 8000 (2) kawa (2) each are backpacks. I have one little wonder 11 hp blower that is awesome. Still didn;t have the blowing machines to cover last years fall season and looking at something this season. Spend $600 for another Red max or get another walk behind blower? Then if I get a walk behind - should I get something different than our little wonder? Any other brands that you guys think is better or less problems?

I can't see a professional mowing person without a backpack blower. I spent my time in that field too, and there's no substiture.

But I think it's very wise to keep a hand-held. There are too many uses for them, and they don't make a bad spare.

We use the Billygoat WB with 13hp engine and like the lever controlled chute. But it probably isn't a lot bigger than your 11hp. When you get into the 13hp it is pretty heavy to do much in lawns, mainly parking lots. The sales pitch says the 13hp will outdo two big packbacks, and I think that is probably true.

My walk behind blower will smoke the RED MAX in leaves, wet or dry. I also stripe parking lots and I use that all the time - it will blow the parking cleaner, faster and move debris further than our Red Max. If 2 people are running the RD - they keep up if not a little ahead of me. I think I may lean towards another WB blower. Just don't know if Little Wonder is the one to get? Already using 4 backpacks and we have 8 handhelds. They all serve there purpose and I wouldn't be without one of each in our trucks.
