I've blown 6 fuses in two day when I try to crank my super Z. The small red light under the key switch go out when that fuse is blown. Also today I was mowing and my blades stopped turning and will not engage. What kind of electrical problems am I having?:(

Sounds like you have a short of some type in your system.
The clutch uses 12 volts also, and may be part of the problem / solution.
Have you contacted your dealer ? What engine is on your unit ?

24 HP Honda, Had it serviced at the dealers this week. The tech said that he suspects that it was not grounded well. Everything work fine while it was there. On my first job after service it started again.

Still having problems. Blowing fuses, the PTO switch plug-in shows a hot spot were the wires coming into the switch are over heating. I have a property that's 3.5 acres and anywhere from 30 minutes to 50 minutes into that job my PTO will stop and not run again. The dealer has another Super Z 24HP on the lot that someone else traded in because of the same problems. I sure would like to know that the prolem is. :(

Did your dealer contact the factory?
I am sure the CS department can point your dealer in the right direction.
E-mail me your info (name, model and serial #'s and dealer info) and I can have our CS department call your dealer.

Had the same thing happen twice and both times I had turned the switch on w/out starting the mower for a few seconds (talking to neighbor, etc.) and then when I turn it one step further....nothing. Its only happened twice in a year and I just don't turn the key until I'm ready to fire it up! Seems OK so far.
