Everytime I turn truck lights on w/trailer lights hooked up, I blow the 10 amp tail light (and speedo light) fuse in truck (Toyo Tacoma) Easiest thing, of course, is not to turn the lights on. Aside from that, how do you trouble shoot something like this?

Check for bare wires on the trailer connector & at the trailer lights. Hope that helps.

try replacing the both plug ends. Sometimes the female (truck end) gets junk up into it and corrondes the plug out.

10 amp fuse sounds a little small for marker lights, It may be with the trailer lights an extra 6-9 lights it may be too much for a 10 amp fuse. Check the wiring and see if you have any bare wires where they pass through metal or down the frame channel, if you dont see any then maybe go to a 15 amp fuse and see if it helps. I wouldnt go over a 20 amp fuse
