Blowing Off Steam - A Rant About A Customer

    I would not have given a 30 day cancellation. It would have been effective immediately!!!!

    I have had a couple of difficult customers but nothing like that! I figure it out pretty quickly now... One lady was letting her imagination get away from her a couple of years ago but she owed me for 1 mow. I didn't ask for payment, I told her I was very busy and wouldn't be back and to keep the money from the mow for her troubles. I haven't thought of her since, until I read this. Run away from him as fast as you can!

    Yeah, you have to be careful with old people. They tell you something one day then deny it the next.

    The landscaping and lawn buisness can really be a challenge on the contractor mentally at least I think so. The contractor really needs to have tough skin 100% of the time. I see customers get mad about the littlest things it allmost gives me a heart attack sometimes. You can work really hard in this intense labor work and give them a good price and they will treat you like a nothing sometimes. I had a customer for 5 years we did a good job cutting his grass everytime and last week we missed his lawn 1 week and he replaced me with another guy. I was thinking REALLY! But you just got to keep on trucking.

    I just lost one for missing one cut due to rain, crazy season! I just say thank you and move on.

    I lost one because I "charge too much." I'd like to see someone do her yard for cheaper than i was doing it. Surprised I Haven't seen you around cpllawncare

    When new to the business, we often submit to clients like this because we are wanting work. But no one deserves to be treated this way.

    We've been crazy busy this year, this rain is really screwing up a thus far great season though.

    Yeah, this rain is terrible. It was raining on the way to my newest clients house, clear when we were working, then poured right as we were leaving.
