I am looking at getting a small lawn seeder in the near future and I'm looking at the blue bird and billy goat. The blue bird is kind of a dedicated machine and the billy goat you can take the verticutter off and use it as a power rake. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with these and which would you recommend. Right now, the billy goat is looking best to me because it is a little wider than the blue bird and seems to be more versatile. My main concern is quality. I know both are good products, but just want the best.
  2. The bluebird also has removable reels.

Lesco Renovator is one of the few that is self propelled.

    Ryan Mataway is another one.
