This was my first trip in a Bobcat and I can say that I would quit the business if I had too depend on it too make a living.
The controls were like I stepped back decades in time.
Kinda like running one of there row pedal skid steers.
    LOL

The Komatsu I normally use was not available so they talked me into this machine. This was not a wore out rental machine either.

The job was digging an area out for a stamped concrete patio at a restaurant.
The area was surrounded by sloped walkways, aluminum railing, and the back side had huge windows.Oh and there was a flag pole as well.
Couple this with the fact it had too be done at night and I got pinched on time because of the weather and had too prep, seed and straw 3 lots that day as well as touch up the beds then rush my equipment too the job and dig all night.
I was an absolute nervous wreck before the night was over.
I just do not understand how people would actually by a machine like this.
Komatsu,Takeuchi and Cats are like butter with there controls.
    Not this thing.
I finished the job but I think I aged a few years.

I hope if everything works out right I will not have too rent again.

    Enough whining.:)

The BC excavators are spastic I think. Especially so if your used to a smoother control system like most everyone elses.

Hitachi controls are the smoothest and fastest responding ones out there, the guy we let go of last month is using a brand new 350 Deere and he said those pilots feel exactly the same way as our little EX27.

Bobcat's Pilots are the worst, why the hell did you think they merged with Doosan?

There was no merging, Doosan straight bought them out.
