Has anyone had trouble getting equipment from them in a timely manner? I ordered a vibe plow and they originally told me 12-20 days and it's been 6 weeks and it still hasn't left the factory. I'm about to cancel my order.

What are your experiences with DW if you use them?

we have a lot of bobcat equipment. they are horrible with parts ordering. i have the vibe plow too. last year i broke the blade and it took almost 6 weeks to get a new one.
broke a pin on a versa handler in the winter, still no pin.
good machines, but the branch doesn't stock anything beyond the basics, and ordering stuff takes forever.

i've always had a good opinion of bobcat but now under the new ownership I have no idea. If Ditch Witch can't get you a plow then Armageddon is upon us.

the closest ditch witch dealership to me closed a few years back. been hearing that they are transitioning out of trenching and plowing equipment to focus more on HDD equipment. heard that they stopped making 255 and 410.

Hmm, maybe that is why I can't find them on the website.

I'm ready to tell Bobcat to go somewhere but I guess I'm between a rock and a hard place. Maybe I'll just keep trenching everything.

255 was replaced by a machine that one must work backwards on , looking over their shoulder. Obviously designed by someone who never spent a day in the field.

That would hearken back to the old VP-12 with the big hook blade. I remember one operater nearly pinning himself between the machine and a fallen tree trunk while walking backwards at the controls.

That's one of the reasons for operating the trencher from the side. I suppose plows are the same.

My Bobcat has a safety device if you are squeezed between the machine and something that stops it.

I think DW is just as bad. Took 2-3 weeks to get a regular bucket in stock which I believe is the most popular attachment for the SK series. But their service is second to none. Very happy with our local dealer.
