Yesterday I got to check out one of the new Bobcat dual hydro walk behinds with the Z-Control dual lever controls. This is only available in a 17 HP Kawi KAI and 48" fixed deck configuration. The Z-Control has a couple neat features. One being a moveable forward reference bar which governs the top forward speed, basically limiting how far forward the levers can be pushed. Another is the steering dampeners on the linkages at the hydro pumps. These work the same way steering dampeners do on a ZTR. This is the first time I've seen these used on a dual hydro walk behind. They really do make a difference on how smooth the maneuvering is. I was really impressed. Some visual stimulation:

I ran one down at the expo. It seemed like an easy machine to manuver. Good luck with it!

What's the price vs. a comparable Exmark W/B?
