I Bought it this moring after my crapsmen took a dump the shaft stripped out. I got the fs80r for $250 out the door with 2 tool sets, a spool of line, and a tube of grease. Is that a good price?

Yah, great price. My dealer here has it for 300. Wish I would have gotten it instead of the 4-mix FS90R.

Yeah you aren't kidding. I like my BR600 but I'll never buy a 4-mix trimmer again.

Great buy!!! I have a FS85 trimmer that is 8 years old and starts with one pull every time. Good luck with it and it will last you a very long time

That is probably the best remaining model of Stihl trimmers from the old straight 2 stroke....we have three FS85 that have lasted many years one of the died last week with busted piston but we got very good service from the unit. What I particularly like is the tight packaging , nothing broke on ours and the clutches never had to be replaced.

I've got an FS85R which is basically the same thing, it's many years old and still runs great. I grab it before the 4-mix unless my partner steals it first:)
