I'm very excited! I just purchased my first ZTR mower today. It's for personal use only. I have about a 5 acre yard. Its an 05 Cub Cadet M54 Tank with the 23hp kawasaki. It was a floor modle/demo unit so it has 9 hours on it. I paid 5795 out the door for it. Does that seem like an ok deal? It is being delivered tomorrow. Guess what I'm doin all weekend?

Great news! That sounds like a great price. I dont know what their price is new but I would say you are getting a pretty good deal. Have fun!

I have a couple M60 tanks with Kohler 27 HP engines.....

I mainly use them on commercial property with small islands.

Neither have ever been in the shop.....knock on wood.

Well built IMO, and for the money a good deal.

Price sounds decent btw, from what I can remember of the 54's, they normally retail for more than that.

Everyone else in the area wanted 6999 for them and some even wanted to add the freight if they didint have it in stock so I was happy with the price. I decided on the Tank from doing research on this site. Seemed to be the best value for the money. Any tips for a first time user?

It won't take all weekend with that mower! You'll probably spend half the weekend cleaning & polishing it.

I''m in a small town called North. Right on the Orangeburg/Lexington county lines. I got it from Charlotte Tractor.

Steve, you are probably right. I'm already looking for a light kit for it.
