Hey guys. Well yesterday I finally took the plunge and bought QB from Amazon.com. I searched all over for good prices and after 6 years without a accounting software I decided it was overdue.

I also am interested in lawn monkey and/or CLIP. How many of you guys are running these softwares and do they integrate with QB?? I have no idea what these other softwares cost. Mostly I would like a software that schedules and keeps track of pricing on a per customer basis. And I am getting into plowing this winter too and wondered it either if these two offer anything special for that. Thanks Joe

I Have both softwares clip and QB Pro 2001, They intergrate with one another, through account numbers. I would suggest you do you homework and go to the clips web site. ask questions there.
As for me I has been one of the best business decisions I could of made. good luck.

Before any of you guys buy any QB software, checkout EBAY. Under $100 often.

I have demo'd all three. From what I hear, Clip is around 2,000-3,000 and LM is around 700-900. If you don't have employees, I would stick with QB.

Been using since 1997. Just keeps gettin better. Great for accounting. We just do scheduling in Excel. Plan on getting QB Express or Clip for scheduling next year. Current setup works ok. We have over 300 Clients.
  8. DID you also get the 80$rebate?

    We use QB Pro 2001.

    We have QuickCLIP. $700.00

    They interface.

We will not use QuickCLIP anymore. Nor any CLIP program again. We went with a custom designed scheduling program and do all billing thru QB.

    Love QB.

    Hate CLIP.

We have been using CLIP for about 10 years, updating on a regulabr basis. We have also been using QB for quite some time for billing & accounting purposes. Frankly, we ahve not been happy with CLIP's attitude toward the smaller customer. Support answers have been hard to get in most cases. Further, we feel that CLIP pricing is getting out of hand. We'll be looking into Lawn Monkey in the coming year. QB has been OK, but we haven't had any real support needs so far.
