Here's my first boulder wall. Another guy helped me. We got the boulders for free from a construction site.

Just some constructive critisim, try some field stone or retaining wall stone for the wall then talk the boulders and put them in random spots down the hill with shrubs around.

Just a couple of quick notes, your wall has limestone and boulders together. We tend to keep t hem apart for visual purposes and also your gaps are a little to large and will allow to much water to run through in rains causing your wall to wash. Other observation is you have a downspot not connected near the wall which will cause your wall to fail. Move the downspot away from the wall to keep water from flowing near it and again causing it to wash out. Final obervation is that their are some new burning bush planted away from the house. They should be planted near the house since as they mature you will have a gap behind them to the house. When doing Boulder walls, take the time to close the gaps and also think of planting different types of ground cover into the wall to hold your dirt in place. Best of luck as you continue building boulder walls.
