Looking at a 2008 Boxer 427 with low hours and wanted to get opinions from guys in the field that have used them.
Also, when looking through specs on these mini's they show tip capacity at 1800 lbs and operating capacity of 900 lbs. In real world operation on the job what is the lifting capabilities?

They handle 24 ich wide sod rolls easily. As far as lifting they do well but do not expect them too move pallets of anything that you may be using like sod or pavers.

I figure it would lift about half a pallet of sod and would be good for moving rocks and dirt in and out of back yards. A auger, trencher and grapple would make quick work of tear outs and installs

Yes it will do all of that. All of the track mini skids lift about the same. The larger machines like this one do a little better. If you like there controls Boxer makes a good machine.
