brand new k series eng, walker mower

    k series 14 hp runnin a 42" deck, for the walker mower. My dealer says that his rep has one of these brand new from ten years ago? Says the walker used to run these ni prob. its a single cylinder. also any probs with fuel pump,linkages???? its goin on a 99 mt

    cost is around 700.00 vs 1800.00 for new 20ho vcommand any feedback would be appreciated, any guys . thanks

    I don't know Walkers so not sure how well the "K" will run this unit, But I do know that "K" maintained properly will out-last any Command engine.

    No fuel pump issues.....

    I'll second that. K series engines from the 60's are still in use in many places. My oldest one is now 31 years old. How many hours are on it, who knows? The hour meters seem to fail at about 2500 hours.
