Brand new old fart staring in business

I am semi-retired, have recreational property in NW Illinois.
I want to start in the LC business, and need guidance.
Don't want to mak a fortune, just enough to keep my gambling, fishing, golfing expenses paid for.

Lots in this community range from 1/4 acre to 3+, most of the property owners are weekenders, so they do not want to mow and blow while they are out there.

Competition is mainly local farmers, pulling in with their tractors, and cutting an acre in 20 minutes.

Any suggestions on pricing would be appreciated. I have an extensive sales background, so comments on "sell quality", etc. have already been considered.

I am thinking - minimum, $40.00 then up.

    Any suggestions?

$40 sounds like a good start.
