Welp, im' about to get another hedge trimmer.. I've used shindaiwa articulating hedge trimmers and the dh230 shindaiwas..

I might want to consider getting another brand such as stihl or redmax... What do yougys think?

I have owned Stihl, Tanaka, Shindiawa, Little wonder. I liked the old Tanakas the best until they changed the engines on them, the new tanakas are gutless and dont rev up anymore. Didnt really like the stihl. I have had a Shin DH230 for 2 years now, I think its the best. I just bought a Little Wonder, which is basicialy a Echo, it wont rev like the Shin. Its pretty good but I still like the Shin the best. And thats what I am going to buy from now on.

    Ah shindaiwa, again lol..

How do you guys sharpen the hedge trimmer's teeth?

You only use a bastard file right?

So do I and I hate mine. I'm thinking about going back to electric trimmers over gas. Then again, I hate doing bushes and would just like to not have to trim anything.
