My vote goes to Redmax. I purchased a new 7001 and I love it! Second would go to my Husqvarna timmer/edger and handheld blower.

I have read a lot of post on this subject and have a collected poll in my head on popularity. It goes like this here:

    Edger---Stihl
    Trimmer---Shindiawa
    Blower---Redmax

This is what seems to be popular. Personally I use a Shindiawa trimmer and love it. A John Deere edger, won't ever buy another again. A Stihl blower BR400, it's underpowered, but no problems and very trustworthy.
