Breathing Lime Dust

    DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE DUST FROM PELLETIZED LIME IS HARMFUL?? I WAS BREATHING IT ALL DAY TODAY DOING FALL CLEAN UPS. I CAN ACTUALLY STILL TASTE IT IN MY MOUTH STILL.:(

    When I do pellitized lime apps. I always where a mask, it is Very dusty. If you read the label it will tell you harmful effects and recommended safety gear for the product you used. If my memory is correct it has silia in pelletized lime and also mentions the use of some type of mask when applying. Also mentions may cause breathing difficulty, though I may be wrong.

    breathing lime dust ALL DAY? pk, i don't want to say anything to scare you but, well, can i have your lawnmower when, i mean if, anything should happen? o, and can i pick it up real soon? like tonight?

    I have spread many thousands of tons of lime, bulk lime, way dustier than pelletized, you have nothing to worry about.:D
