Hi. This is my first post. I have a question for anyone who can help. My Briggs and Stratton 4.5hp self propelled walk behind won't stay running for more than five seconds, unless I keep pumping the prime bubble while it's running. I suppose I may have a problem with the fuel line. Would anyone please give me some advice on how to fix this problem. I would be greatly indebted to you. :dizzy:

I would think that it is more a problem with the carb, fuel has to be coming through the line if you pushing the primer buld does anything. perhaps a carb rebuild is in order.

Sounds like the carby need a service most is most like the diaphragm is not pumping fuel.
