hi, i have a friend that just left for brisbane, he is from warrington, england and he is visiting alfie langer. i believe alfie has retired. martn
I think you mean Wolloongong which is down south about 900km and north of Sydney. Sounds like your brother is a legend to save that kid. I pulled a 10 yr old out of a river who we could not revive a few years back. His family were playing in the water not 50mtrs away, could not believe they wern't watching.
re Alfie Langer . You know your successful when people know of you on the other side of the world. He's one of Queenslands greatest Rugby league players and retired from the Brisbane Broncos last year. Owns a restaurant on the Sunshine Coast now I believe.
Thanks for the replies Come on over for a holiday and experience paradise. Grass grows here 12 months of the year, no snow only sun.

Sorry Russell, will get more time when it cools down. I just love this site and would spend all my spare time reading how the big boys do it other side of the world. I thought there was just alot of water out there away from this great country.

G'day matey, Lismore NSW go the BLUES
How's business. Good to see your a proud Aussie. I enjoy Rugby Union as I played it as a wee lad and now my son is. What do you do apart from pig shooting. In Brisbane its frowned upon shooting the coppers. Use to stay in Lismore a fair bit when I was selling ( trying to anyway) organic fertiliser to the farmers down there. Now I do lawncare fert and pest apps. Also have couple acres of turf with sweet smother shade grass aka Durban.
