Not happy machine would not move until I loosened hydraulic pump bolt. Spoke to my dealer they had them in stock and told me that it is a common problem. Anybody else have this happen to them? PITA replacing it.

    Any fix in sight?

I bought the mower new in July 2005. I thought I read something last year about it but, could not find it. Do you remember what the change was? Thanks!

It was a thicker spring where the hook end is I think. part number 103-330 its about $7.50 , it had a different design on the end to relieve hook stress.
ask the dealer for that part, it should work fine after that

Went to the dealer the other day, they said there is no replacement spring. I gave the part # they said it is not a valid #. I was told that Exmark changed manufacturers for the spring. The new spring has a different finish on it. We'll see!
