Broken hydro belt question

    Just broke the hydro belt on my new 52" hp with only 50 hrs on it. The dealer fixed it right away and was puzzled by the breakage and found no causes for it. He said that it may have been a bad belt. Have any of you guys had a similar situation and what was the remedy. Thanks

    too tight, bad idler (if equipped), mis-alignment, bad bearing, bad belt, rubbing on something........
