Any guys know the best way to fix a broken sidewalk?
Depends how badly damaged ... we chipped one next to a industrial job we were doing... after a half azzed attempt to patch it that I knew the guys would never get looking good enough for the guy I offered him $150.00 worth of plant material ..he took it. Last year another sidewalk was broken and we hired a guy to do it. Sometimes it's best to offer compensation and be done with it.
Need more details hows it broke, chipped, cracked. caved in becouse of lack of fill under it pm and maybe i can help Mac
Here is a link that may help you.
How to Repair Concrete
Dump truck driver drove over it and broke off a large section.
I used to drive dump truck. We wouldn't cross over a sidewalk unless the person receiving the load signed a waiver on our bill of lading that absolved us of all responsibility for damage to sidewalks. Sidewalks just wern't built to take the load of a fully loaded tandem.
The best way to deal with that is cut it at the joints and replace the section.
Ditto again! Good luck!
