I'm looking into purchasing the brown bedEdger and had a question. Some of my lawns have the decorative red rock in their beds and are in desparate need of edging. My question is what kind of control do I have over the dirt that is thrown up into the bed? What I would like to do is rake the rock back about 8 inches, then cut the edge on the beds and then rake the rock back down. Does that seam feasible?

thanks for your time and opinions.

It has to be raked back quite a ways, and/or re-dressed with fresh cover.

exactly. Then sell them on the commerical grade black plastic edging. Its the only way I will install rock in beds that touch grass. Because re-edging like you are doing it a really pain every year.
