Can anyone tell me any ways to tell the difference between brown patch and drought stress? I know to look for the lesions on the blade as a sign of fungal disease, but are there any other things to look for? Also, on one of my yards the grass is dying in perfect strips that "coincidently" match the pathways of my tires. Is this a sign of disease or drought. I'm pretty inexperienced and any help or insight would be great. Thanks.

The grass browning where your tires went is from heat stress.
