Does anyone know an easy and effective way to get rid of ALOT of staghorn sumac? I have a customer that has a ton of it growing in clumps spread over about 5 acres. They want it removed, so I'm trying to bid on it. I was thinking of using a mini excavator and just riding around digging it out. There is just too much of it to do with a chainsaw or brushcutter, plus I woukd still need to remove the stumps. Any suggestions would be appreciated>

we have a mini track hoe and for removing stumps I think you would be farther ahead to use a regular backhoe, It has more digging power and you could use the front loader for quick loading if you have to haul this stuff. Our mini trackhoe is great for digging graves, or water lines and drains in confined places. But if your out in the open on a bigger job its just not productive enough. You might even think about a bobcat if the stuff isn't to big. JMO marc
