Is there special trick to getting the front Budd wheels off? The truck is a 96 F-350 Dump 4x4 Diesel. I tried the old fashion way of beating the tire with a sledge and that didn't seem to help. Air Hammer Didnt really help either. Are they just rusted on?

    Thanks in advance,

    Derek

Yes they are, spray them down with penetrating fluid, like fluid film, then wait. I will loosen all the lug nuts and then drive it forward over thing and jar it loose. You can always beat the hell out of it.

The wheels are hub pilot they rust to the hub they will come off you have to really whack the tire to get them broke free. If your changing the tires and not using them again take a sledge hammer and start whacking the tire. You don't want to hit the rim you will bend it. Yours sound like they are really rusted from road salt. You may even have to heat with a torch on the wheel flange.
