We have a buffalo turbine on one of our diesel walkers. That thing has cut our time in half at most jobs. The amount of ground that can be covered and the amount of leaves it moves is amazing. We rarely use our push blowers anymore. The only drawback to it is that it is extremely loud and can blow debrie in your face if you are not careful with it. It was a very good investment for us.

    thanks for the input dieseltturferhd.
I'm leaning towards the pull behind unit.

    Here is the pull behind....

They have close to 10,000 CFM !!!!

An old F model JD would be a perfect application for one of these.

Hey TLS, if ya drop Viagra into the Walker gas tank, will the Turbine discharge do the same thing? LOL! All kiddin' aside, what does that unit cost? Looks like it'd be great on large props.

For the VIAGRA motivated tow behind...[IMG]

For the Front mount Walker model....[IMG]

And then there's the big Front runner models....

I looked at the Buffalo Turbine for the Grasshoppers. These things are equal to about 14 B/P blowers. They'd probably also move light snow. 150 mph amd 10,000cfm-wow!

Remind me of the Jet blowers they use to dry race tracks.

Wonder if the sidward thrust is noticable on a smaller unit like the Walker?

Saw one in action last week.

It was a towed behind a golf cart at a local golf course.

The turbine looked brand new, it had the 23 HP Kohler. It moves a serious amount of leaves a good distance.

They would only seem practical for golf/municipal/farm/large residential use.

If you have BIG accounts the buffalo would be a BIG timecutter.
