Greetings, new to this forum and to greens maintenance.

I am having a problem with black bugs that dig up little mounds of dirt on my greens on damp days. What is the best way to kill them. Also, on one of the greens which has a sand base, I am having a problem with ants.
    Any suggestions.
Thank you for reading this and helping me if you can.

    Thank you for that.
    It looks like interesting reading.
I took a peak at it and it looks like I'm going to have to figure out what the bugs are first.
    Hey thanks again.

It looks like Chlorpyrofis Pro kills about everything. Then why are there so many others that only kill certain insects? In my novice opinion, why apply something other than the Chlorpyrofis Pro?

By the way, I have sort of been thrown into taking care of some golf greens. There is a bug problem on several greens that are built on dirt, tiny black bugs that leave dirt mounds (a lot) on moist greens, and ant holes on the sand based greens. We have been using Sevin with NO results. I may have to check with the person applying the Sevin (liquid) to see if the mixture was done properly.

    Thanks for your time.
