How long did it take you to build up a number of loyal customers who provide you with steady work. I'm in my second year and my numbers aren't increasing at all. I advertise in the phone book and newspaper but I just can't increase my numbers.

Are you near a military base? I know it is kind of hard to keep some of the accounts around here because people are always moving. You have the account for one season, and the next season someone else has moved into the same house and they want to do their own mowing. Then the next year, you might get the lawn back when the next couple moves in.
