to all that are experienced in retaining wall design and build, how do you start when excavating? do you lay the fist row at the lowest point of the excavation then work over until you hit higher and then go up again? i don't understand how you know when to start a higher level of brick, like when the rows look like the continue into the earth. i would like to get started in walls and i have a customer i could sell one to. id love for it to turn out beautiful because of the high traffic area. what do you guys do first dig then lay 2" sand, then limestone tamped down then the rows of block? thanks for the help:D

Pick up a brochure from your local distributor, they are filled with the answers to these and more questions.
