I've had my 36 inch bunton bullet for 4 years now, and this last season it was becoming hard to turn but only on one side. I thought the belts were just old and starting to slip, so I replaced them and it had no effect. I think maybe one side of the gear box might not be turning as fast as the other. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problem?

Though you replaced the belts with new, how is the adustment on them?

You need to adjust them! I adjust my belt driven once a month or so... very often one side wil start slipping or not turning sharp...

Your drive wheel pulley may need to be straightend. Small peices of debris get caught between it and the belt and bend the pulley. Sometimes you can take a pair of channel-locks and squeeze the pulley grooves a little tighter together. Good luck, Russ
