I've beed looking in catalogs, and I see a tourch you hook up to you propane tank for killing weeds and melting ice-
Wonder how good it will be for fence lines, or is it crap-

If you think about it- Have you ever seen a field of woods after a fire?- nothing grows back for quite some time.

Just wondering if anyone has tried one- or if its just junk?

I have one that hooks up too a large propane tank (20lb I think). I use it for burning weeds and grass out of sidewalks and other concrete or paved areas where people don't want anything sprayed. I also use it to cleanup grass and weeds after they are dead from being sprayed. It seems too take longer for the grass and weeds to come back but I have never really kept track of it so it could be just my imagination. The only downside is carrying the tank around with you when it is full it weighs a ton if I was going to use it alot I would build a cart for the tank. Hope that helps you.
