Burning up Fuse

    Quick question, I have a 2000 lazer hp 52inch with a 23 hp kohler.....question is I keep melting the fuse under the seat....Any ideas what could be shorting out....everything works fine just melting the fuse...any ideas!!!

    Quick answer,

    Check the connector plug on the ignition switch for rust/ corrosion.

    I would feel and look at all the wires and see is there are any places that the wires are being routed around some of the steel frame members. You will be checking for any place that has the insulation worn through causing a ground situtation. This could be at a sharp edge or a smooth edge where the wire may be tightly pulled at a location and vibration has caused this.
