Okay i gave this homeowner my bid for his property. Very expensive home property worth about 600k. Well the first landscape company burnt the grass. This owner just bought the home, and inform me that the previous company stated that they put fertilize back in july near the end. I pointed it out to the owner and inform him that his grass is burnt from fertilizer and I believe that played a part with him going with my company. Well I inform him that I want to get a soil test done. He wants me to Aerate his yard with heavy seeding. Sorry for the misspelling. I know it may take a week or more to get the results back. How should I go with this being that its close to the mid of Oct and it be at the beginning of nov when i get the test back. The has tall fescue we live in North carolina

July + fescue – water = new lawn company next August :-D

J/k goo job getting the bid. I would back off to EOW if its relatively dry.

You can go ahead and do the aeration and overseeding and just hold off on your fertilizer until you get your results. The grass seed won't need the fert for a couple weeks.
