Please evaluate the bush-hogging job. The field: 10 acres. The bush-hogging equipment: tractor with a pull behind 5 footer deck.

It looks like it needs to be cut again. I wouldn't have any customers left if I left my bushhogging jobs looking like that.

Like Krazy said it need another cut. We try to knock it all down there sometimes it not perfect but that looks like it was thick and just cut once

How much would a properly done job cost in SC? The grass and weeds were between 3 ft. and 5-6 ft. tall and quite thick. The cost $250 but the next time I will have to pay $350. Second photo @ the upper left corner - the weeds there are growing around bricks, so that area couldn't be bush-hogged.

Looks like he broke a shear bolt and just kept cutting

And 250 is very low for 10 acres. I get 500 for 4 acres every 2 months

I take it you paid for this job. That less then 25 an acre. Here in va were averaging 55 an acre. It hard to explain to people that the cheapest isn't always the best.

10acres I would have charged in the $650-$750 range.
My heavy duty cutter on my mahindra can make 8' tall weeds look manicured in one pass.

Looks decent enough to me. It'll look better when he goes over it again. Try and cut it a lil more often to get a more finished appearance.

I guess I had just 1/2 job done for that amount. In this area $250 is big money.
Yes, I paid for it, I always pay no matter what. I hate to argue.

A lot of the tall and thick weeds are lying down without being cut, they're green and will stand up and keep on growing with the next rain.
