We're moving next week so I'm about to get my business cards redone. We will only be at this new address for maybe a year and then we'll be moving into a house we're building.

My wife suggested I not put my address on these new cards since the address will be changing again. They will have the usual business name along with my own, my phone number, and my business email address. But then I got to thinking. Do I really need my address on there even when we move again? When I send out letters, my letterhead has the address and of course my bills do as well. But is there really a "need" to putting your address on a business card? Heck, I can see in some crazy way it could actually be safer these days.:)

You don't need an address, I always felt it was useless information except where if you had walk-in customers at a location. But no, I don't think you need it, try what your wife says thou, a temporary thing, study the effects just in case.

    Peace

Never put your personal home address on your business card. Just don't do it. No need for it whatsoever.

Let's put it this way....How many people knock on your front door asking for estimates? How many people just call your phone?

I have never put my address on any of my Business Cards. I think people are more interested in the services you provide instead of where you live...

I don't have my address on my cards and it isn't an issue for my customers.

IMO, having a address shows that your business has an established location. A PO box is best if you have any concerns about prvacy
