I am thinking of starting my lawn care business in the next year or two. I live in West Virginia and already have some yards I keep care of. I also do some lawns in Virginia as well though. When I get my business license will I have to get a license for both West Virginia and Virginia, or will one work for both states. Thanks.

I am in Virginia and your WV lic. should be fine. It does change w/ some local govs though. The one thing you have to be sure of is how does each state differ on taxes and insurance. Your INS in WV is different than VA. I know, I have a place in Pocahontas.
