How many of you that have business license's have the number on your business card? I know alot of people that have Contractor's Licenses have those on there, just wasn't sure if its necessary to have the Business License number on there or not.

    Thanks

Here in jersey "home improvement contractors" were required to obtain a contractors liscense from the state. According to the wording on the paperwork this number must be placed on all items of advertisement, which includes business cards.

Your best bet, contact whatever authority is in charge of issuing the number/s you are speaking of.

    Hi Jdmtnbikr,

I would think any state that requires you to have such a license will require you to use it in advertisements. Check with your state though.
